Development through Women Empowerment
A lot of households are devastated by poverty and unemployment in Cote d'Ivoire.
Many women being the head of households suffer in running the households due to financial constraints. Very few have opportunities to earn income. Those who do, are most of the time discriminated against in the workforce. Seed4Her training program is empowering the poor women, helping them to become self-sufficient. Our sewing machine training and free machine distribution program provides these women with the skills needed to open a small business in their household. This is a dual-pronged approach, providing free sewing machines & training to create a stream of income for these women. In the last 3 years, over 100 poor women benefited from this program. Each sewing machine costs $200, and training costs $50. Your generous support can change the life of a poor woman.
